I am from Mumbai. I had my entrance exam and order a book through cash on delivery basis for from Snapdeal as it was giving good discount. First they told me it will reach by 4-5 days. After 4-5 days they send a mail saying that it will be delayed by 3 days. Well I waited. But even after 9 days from placing the order I didnt receive it. I called up their customer care center to inquire (by the way their customer care no. is not toll free) After going through the process of pressing 1, 2, 3... on my phone for a couple of mins, music stopped and a human voice came from other side.
When I said about cancelling my order he didnt hesitate a second and quickly cancelled my order (It didnt seem to be a concern for him that he is loosing business for his company). He didnt even try to say that it will reach within one or two days instead directly cancelled the order. It surprised me a little. Anyway the end result was I lost 9 days of study time. Then brought the book from local vendor. My first bitter experience with online shopping.
