Snapdeal 7 days money back guarantee is useless

I recently bought as lenovo Vibe X2 mobile from Snapdeal.com, as I saw that they have a 7 days money back guarantee. I reason I choose this mobile was because it was 4G-LTE enabled. As it turned out the phone was not working in the 4G mode and data transfer was not happening. Assuming a sim problem I tried other mobiles which were 4G enabled anf the sim was working on those. I contacted snapdeal regarding this problem as I thought I was covered by the 7 days guarantee. They told me that they want a certificate from the service center of the brand, which was lenovo. I went to the service centre and they confirmed that the piece was defective and to get it to work properly the mother board had to be replaced but they did not have procedure to give this in writing. I thought since they money back was in place it should be fine.


SWhen I contacted snapdeal about this it became a big issue finally after almost 15 days they have agreed to take the mobile back but they have not confirmed that they will give me a refund. Saying out back end tema will test it.


On the other hand when I had bought a defective phone earlier from Amazon they had returned it without any hassle.
