Snapdeal is one of the online platform that provides large no of products across india via so many sellers. on comparison with other e-commerce company like Amazon or Flipkart we are sharing the service provided to customers and sellers related to it.
For Customers
The company provide free home delivery including COD for their products. Those product cost below Rs. 400, company charges Rs. 30 for delivery for such products.
The company provide deals for the day on daily basis with good discounts and offers
Company provide good customer support
Company also provide 7-days return policy for all of their products
Few days back company also started a service SD Gold in competition with Flipkarts Assured. In SD Gold service customer get a return time of 15 days rather than 7 days. one more thing they provide free home delivery for prepaid order booked via credit or debit cards
For Sellers:
Company sellers support is not so good in comparision with customer support.
Snapdeal charges much higher rate around 16% from their sellers for each order, if they reduce it, then products cost will goes down.
Snapdeal charges fine and penalize their sellers for delay in orders shipment by more than two days
Snapdeal also charges fine for their courier partners is shipment is not been picked by the next day of manifest generation.
Company staff is not so good to manage the big sales like diwali sale etc, to manage the traffic and limiting the orders they inactive the sellers top rated products, that is a very bad business practicing.
Company spend so much for their marketing, but fails to become market leader as their employees or personnel and team is incompetent.
