Am Cheated by Snapdeal - Beware of buying products

I had ordered for a watch (PCBC Exclusive Tachymeter & Multifunction Watch) on 12th May through Snapdeal and received the watch on 21st May. The watch was damaged, outer glass for lying loose in the box and for the inner small 3 dials, there were no needles at all. I had called snapdeal customer care and they told me to send the pictures of damaged watch and box which I send on 21st May itself. From 23rd May, am calling snapdeal customer care daily to check the status and I got a confirmation on 29th May that the watch needs to be send back to them through return courier.


Watch was taken back from me on 3rd june and till now am yet to get any update from Snapdeal team. Am calling customer care every day and sending email to their helpline ID. But there is only one standard reply from customer care that "sorry for the inconvenience, we have forwarded this issue to the concerned department and you will get a call back in 24 hours". But not even once, I have received any call back from any one in Snapdeal. Since it is my money, I end up calling everyday and asking status. And the email resolution is wonderful, nobody respond only.


I marked Snapdeal CEO also, but absolutely no response. I doubt whether there is some team assigned for actioning these emails. In that case, they should at least stop promoting this email Id in their site. Today again I called and they told that the return damaged watch was received on 7th june and the concerned department will call me in 24 hours. Now in effect, Snapdeal took my money and took the damaged watch also and they made the customer real fool. This is the nice way to make profit which other companies should also start practising. I really regret my decision to have this online purchase which has now put me under trouble and mental agony.


Please do not buy anything from snapdeal as you might have my same experience. And in case, you still wish to purchase something, pray to god so that you are lucky to get good product worth your money.
