Worst e-commerce experience I have

I ordered for one Rice Cooker and One Wireless mouse. This was supposed to be gift for my parents. Thanks to Snapdeal’s poor delivery they got one damaged rice cooker delivered. Wireless mouse has not been delivered at all. Test of an internet shopper are:


First Test: How reliable are they in delivery what they originally promised? - People do buy on trust. Snapdeal failed here. Their courier partner bluedart’s performance is horrible.


Second Test: How smooth is the refund process once you know the product is defective? So far I have not seen any positive attitude to refund the product. The support team committed initially on 24-48 hours response. Almost after 48 hour they sent a note saying they tried to call me and it would be my turn to call them. I called to the service desk to get another timeline for the call. So far still waiting for the latest call.


I am regular internet service/product buyer in India. The same address(where I sent the gifts) was serviced earlier by Infibeam/flipkart etc without any issue.


Snapdeal’s performance is poor to say the least. If you keep your kart with products they will call you once or twice in a day to make sure you are finally buying. The same zeal is missing when it is bad delivery performance. This destroys trust.
