I will keep this review short - as I cannot comment on the quality of products of snapdeal as I never received mine to actually check. Snapdeal has pathetic delivery time if u order any gadget in my case a Samsung y phone it took them over 7 days to ship, usually they take anything between 7-15 days for delivery, which is some thing they proudly boost about.
Plus unlike other internet sites like Flipkart they do not own the delivery system themselves but have outsourced to other courier companies like bluedart/first choice which according to snapdeal is as good as Dhl or fedex(really don’t knw in which world they are living).
The courier company and snapdeal will try hard that u track ur order urself if you have already made the payment(only god can help u then), in case of of cash on delivery they will treat u as if they are giving the stuff for charity and have utmost disrespect towards client. Even if the courier is torn or scratched open courier they wont let u see what’s inside whether its a phone, watch or a bomb - take it at ur own peril.
Also, the courier company will try its best to make you collect stuff from their office to save that last mile. After, all the waiting and frustration u might accept whatever BS they want to deliver.
Few points to remember in case u still want to order product from snapdeal:
Never pay in advance with credit card or internet banking, always stick to COD- as u still have chance to reject their substandard delivery/products.
Make it sure u open the stuff u accept, all major sites like Flipkart, Landmark, Indiatimes let u do the same.
Most Importantly: Avoid ordering products from snapdeal, the price they offer u can easily get from market if u only spend few hrs instead of waiting for 7-15 days.
