In June 2015, I ordered 2 products from snapdeal. One was a Philips Headphone & another one is a laptop Decal. When I ordered, I did not go through the reviews on Snapdeal.
After ordering, (Orders were Cash On Delivery options) I went through the reviews. I was shocked that it has so many negative reviews in different websITES_Company. I was confused & afraid of getting conned as I took the reviews seriously. I referred to a friend & he also said that don’t buy electronics from Snapdeal.
Frankly saying, both the items I ordered had the cheapest price among all the online shopping websITES_Company. But after hearing too much negative reviews on internet & my friend’s advice, I decided to cancel my both orders. Another thing, the seller of the Philips headphone also had negative reviews on google which fueled my negative mentality towards Snapdeal. And sadly I did cancel my orders.
There is this forum where a guy posted about his order from snapdeal which is quite intimidating & one would definitely get confused to buy from Snapdeal. The guy ordered a mobile phone & he was delivered with stones inside the box. He also posted a photo of that which makes it more intimidating.
Since then I did not order anything from Snapdeal. I was scared of making online purchase from Snapdeal.com. I did some search & found that not only Snapdeal but all the shopping websITES_Company has/had negative reviews all over the internet.
On August 13, 2015 I came around with this offer on Snapdeal - 2 X 12 Watt Eveready LED bulbs+ 4 AAA batteries free @Rs. 589. This is the cheapest price for this product I ever saw. Flipkart offered this product @Rs. 599 & that is only on app. But this offer on Snapdeal was for both app & website.
I thought let’s give it a try & placed the order on the same day. The shipment was done by Gojavas courier which also provided good service. I received my product on 16 August, 2015. The product was brand new(Manufactured in June, 2015) packaging was excellent, Intact_Automation & working.

Fast delivery
Daily deal is available on website & not only for app(Unlike Amazon & Flipkart)
Cons:
- The website interface is really messed up. Its search bar is invisible most of the times, the daily deals pane slide to extreme right.
I was really amazed by quick & great service by Snapdeal, contrary to the negative reviews.it has.
