In the past I had ordered 2 items from Snapdeal. Experience was decent.
Recently I wanted to order a tp-link router. I found price on Snapdeal cheaper than other portals so decided to go ahead with it.
I ordered one, its order id was 1477931764. Dispatched date was promised to be 2 days, but to my surprise, after 2 days they sent me mail saying item is not available & shipping will be delayed. Since I was in urgent need, I cancelled order.
Since this was first time I had faced problem, I thought of giving it second shot. So I placed one more order for same product but with different seller. This time dispatched was promised in 1 day. Order id was 1488007656. But same story repeated again. At the end of 1 day, they sent me SMS saying dispatched will be delayed.
I dont understand, if they do not have availability, why do they promise dispatch. I think Snapdeal is going the Flipkart way. Irony is, actions column says "Item has already been dispatched to our courier partner" & do not allows to cancel the order.
In the past, Snapdeal had sent FAKE RayBan to one of my friend. Though they refund money, but customer had to be in un-necessary cancellation/return process, which is waste of time as well as money.
After this incident, I am really afraid of ordering from online portals.
