We all have heard about the e-commerce giant snapdeal. But I personally don’t like the site. Shopping on snapdeal is a waste of time.
I have been using snapdeal for the past few years. Is has a very poor stock of products which is the main reason it’s not a good shopping site for me. I had ordered a guitar stand from snapdeal. It came in a good packing but the product was not satisfactory. I needed it badly, so I didn’t return it.
The main problem with snapdeal is that it has a tortoise like delivery system. The average time required for goods to reach your home is about 8-10 days. Whereas other e- commerce giants like flipkart and amazon are way faster in its delivery time. This is a primary reason I don’t like snapdeal.
Flipkart and amazon are constantly releasing products that are exclusively available on their site or app. But snapdeal has no products of such caliber. This is why snapdeal is lagging behind others.
Another primary reason is that returns in snapdeal is a bit hectic that the others and snapdeal gives only a 10 day window to return on most of its product. Whereas flipkart on the other hand gives around a month for its return.
The goods that you buy from snapdeal are mostly out of date as newly launched products are often not available on snapdeal.
Snapdeal mostly depends on bluedart for its delivery which is in my opinion the worst courier service. It takes ages for you goods to reach your destination. So guys if you have an urgency to get that good, it’s better to forget it.
Snapdeal has limited number of offices. Even the android app of snapdeal has many glitches. They have improved their app on the past few months and also introduced snapdeal gold but still it does not satisfy me. Other sites provide a more user friendly approach towards shopping than snapdeal.
A friend of mine ordered a guitar a few days back. It said that it will be delivered within 10 days. The guitar was delivered after 20 days. The fretboard of the guitar was bent. Seeing this my friend was very disappointed as he wanted it very quickly. So he decided to return it and thus requested for a return. Now he has ordered the same guitar on Amazon and the guitar came in 7 days and in perfect condition.
So I would suggest you all that don’t buy from snapdeal. Try other e- commerce giants instead because they take the order seriously and bring it to your home at a very faster speed and in a better condition. Even the returns are quicker in those sites.
