Snapdeal is a fraud company selling duplicate item

I used to purchase many things online and used most of the online sites. In the recent past I had 5 orders with Snapdeal. My observations on the recent purchases;


1) If it is Cash On Delivery, they dispatch the item immediately and if prepaid, they take maximum time to dispatch it, sometimes 7 days to dispatch.


2) They give very good images of items in the website, but the same will not be delivered. Customer order items based on reviews as well as brand. But they will not send it. For example I have ordered a mop, they have shown in the image: https://snapdeal.com/product/welcome-group-easy-mop-multicolor/631218858611 and send me this: https://shopping.indiatimes.com/lifestyle/home-improvement/easy-revolving-mop-hs-smp/43006/p_B4660929. There were no user manual, and I couldn’t use it and they had to refund me. What do you call this? It is cheating.


3) They allow street vendors to sell item on highly inflated price. I have ordered his item https://snapdeal.com/product/rock-hudson-black-regular-fit/622469252385, the price they show is 1999 and selling for 549. I was shocked to see the quality when I received it. The cloth was lowest quality and there were some tags stitched with it, they cut the tag and attached some printed paper. No, brand details, tag etc. No one will give more than 200 for this item. They say the item cost is 1999. Highly inflated price.


4) Their return system is not proper, even the cancellation system. I have ordered 2 items on 2nd January and they did not dispatch it till 5th, I cancelled both the items and 1 item got cancelled and another item they dispatched after cancelling it. It took 10 days to get my refund. For the another item till today, I did not receive my refund.


5) Once an item is cancelled, they delay the reverse pickup and customer need to wait till the item reached in their warehouse and they need to have a quality check to refund, but they are not bothered to check quality before dispatching it. Strange.


6) They do not bother about quality but the quantity. Even if any customer cancel the item or return it, they are benefitted. The money is with them at least for half a month. This is not 100 or 200, it is millions.

My suggestion is to all online buyers are to avoid Snapdeal. They are not bothered about the quality and customer. All customer care team is with some predefined messages they simply copy paste. Do not waste your money. Even the top officials are not bothered. I have tweet them and mailed them. There was no response.


Say a BIG NO to #Snapdeal. The worst online platform and the best for street vendors.
