I had ordered a 32 Inch Toshiba Led TV p2305(order no.2788275857) which I was supposed to receive on 13 sept. 2014 however I received it on 16th Sept.2014 which was very disappointing but to add to my misery the TV I received in damaged condition as the display was broken.
I immediately reported to snapdeal the customer service executive very calmly responded saying I am covered under Trust Pay and would get the refund once they receive the product . I was told a reverse pick up would be arranged in 48 hours.
I received a SMS and email from snapdeal stating a reverse pickup had been arranged with their courier partner nuvoex. Please see the email below. on 17 sept.
Dear mandar kinikar, We are sorry you were not satisfied with your order no. 2788275857 We have initiated the reverse pickup process for the return of the item.
Our courier partner will pick up the item in the next 2-3 business days. Please call NUVOEX on 08882140288 in case the pickup does not happen in the next 48 hours.

I contacted the courier guys number provided he said a tempo would come for pick-up but nobody bothered to show up as I tried reaching nuvoex on there call centre 08882140288 but it cant be reached . But I received a sms stating my reverse pick up has been cancelled as I received no call from nuvoex for any pickup was comming to my place .
I immediately informed snap deal about the same I received the same automated reply sorry for the inconvenience caused and they have forwarded to my issue to there respective department for priority resolution . I was told a reverse pick up would be arranged between 12 PM 5 PM TODAY ON SUNDAY. However I called up snapdeal again to confirm the same The customer executive person had no idea of the issue I had to explain here again as she was least interested about my issue as she hurriedly wanted to get rid of me stating the same sorry for the inconvenience caused and will forwarded your issue and blah blah, further she said she cant guarantee if the pick up would be arranged on sunday between 12.00 and 17.00(as I was promised by sanpdeal earlier) and gave no suerity when it would be picked up same bullshit about trust pay and my money being safe.
I received the same email stating to do all the process again which is very painful I am not sure what would happen with my money as I am left with a broken and faulty product .I am not getting any convincing reply from snap deal as the executives seem to get rid off you if you report a issue with but if there is a new order enquiry they will be all talks.
I am regular on line shopper and had stopped buying from stores but after this experience I am fearful about shopping online specifically snapdeal . I am not sure if there is a scam going on in snapdeal as everything seems fishy . Guys please pay extra and buy from shops at least your money is safe. if something happens like this you can ask some one who is physically there . If you still want to purchase online opt for COD check the product thoroughly then make the payment but my reccomendation buy in stores or try flipkart they tend to be more professional.
GUYS ITS OUR HARD EARNED MONEY AND THIS IS INDIA IF YOU GET RIPPED OFF IT MAKES VERY PAINFUL AND TIME CONSUMING TO GET YOUR MONEY BACK AS WE DONT HAVE STRONG LAWS AS CONSUMERS WHICH WOULD PROTECT US .
