Pathetic Service, Frauds they are!

I ordered a boot on 9th Jan 14. The estimated dispatched/shipping date was 15th Jan 14. I waited for the product till 15th Jan 14 but when I didn’t got any information about the product delivery, I called them.


Now, they say, it will take another 3 business days to dispatch the product. Reason being, order got out of stock. Disappointed, but had no other option so said okay. But just after the call I got a text message that your product is cancelled. Bewildered!


I ignored it. But then I got an IVR call stating that product is cancelled. I dialed up their number to confirm. As expected, talking to them is not worthy. Agent said, product is still under process and not cancelled. He failed to give me the reason for the cancellation text and call. So, I asked him to just give me a commitment that product will be delivered, delayed though but will not get cancelled. He refused, asked him to connect to manager.


Now, manager on call:- I asked him to give me commitment. He said he needs to check and will confirm by tomorrow. Fine. I went to my bed good night!


Woke up early in the morning, checked out the notifications. 2 text messages- SNAPDEAL- Your order have been cancelled. Another one HDFC- An amount of has been reversed by Snapdeal. Wow. Amazing! I just feel that they cheated me.


I have some very strong points:


1st- I ordered the product on 9th and I checked out the website on 10th, the product was still in stock, so how did the product got out of stock? And even, if product got out stock, then why they got to know about it so late.


They should have informed me earlier and refunded my money because its not possible that it went out of stock at the last moment bcz product was available on 10th as well and so that means I was not the last one to order it. I was tracking this boot from months and had subscribed for let me know when available. I got the mail on 9th afternoon and within an hour I ordered it.


2nd- Why they waited for me to contact them? I believe they wanted to hold my money for as long as they can and this is what they do with us. They hold money for days and then refund it, ultimately gaining interest on ours money. One more point to include, as per their policy, credit card refund is processed within 7-10 days. But amazing, I got it within  few hours. Lucky I’m. rRght?


Well, I had already heard and read a lot about Snapdeal’s poor services but I ignored those and gave a try. Now became a victim.I need to go for an event on 18th and have no time to either go to market or order a new one from other portals.


I swear, no more Snapdeal.and just would like to suggest, learning from ur own mistake is gud, but learning from others mistake is Better.!
