After doing a week long research for the best smartphone under Rs. 20000 with at least 3GB RAM & FHD display, I filtered out Lenovo Vibe X3, Vivo V3 Max, HTC Desire 828 Dual, Samsung Galaxy J7 Prime & Gionee s6s. I opted for Lenovo Vibe X3 since it tops
most of the review charts. Although my wife has been using Lenovo K3 Note for the last 6 months & has been facing a lot of hanging & software issues, I still went for Lenovo brand due to the reviews/feedback of this model.
On amazon, the set was priced at Rs. 19999, while on snapdeal, I got it for Rs. 18999 plus 10% disc.(max. of Rs. 1500), i.e. Rs. 17499. The set came with snapdeal gold advantage, i.e. extended 14 days return.
But I was totally wrong to have put my faith in Lenovo & snapdeal. The handset had wi-fi connectivity issues. Snapdeal customer care told me to get the problem approved by Lenovo Service Centre. I got the mobile checked at the Service Centre and sent service sheet to snapdeal.
The actual problem arose when reverse pickup was attempted by JV Couriers. While observing the package contents, it was found that the IMEI nos. of the mobile set matches with its outer sliding cover, but it does not match with its inner casing/cover. Thus,
the courier personnel who initially refused to collect the item, later picked the item without handing over the receipt.
Although snapdeal customer care has assured that the reverse pickup will be done within 48 hours, they are not ready to return the item but replace the same. I already had doubts against Lenovo and after facing hardware/wifi problems in my set, I am not
willing to go for Lenovo brand. Moreover, the IMEI nos. mismatch problem is totally unacceptable. Websites like snapdeal claim to check all the details of the items sold by them and now they are not even ready to return the item after so many issues. What is the
use of 7-day return or 14-day return(snapdeal gold)?
