Hi,
I made a purchase with Snapdeal on 8th of March, 2014 for around Rs.8000 which was to be delivered as a birthday gift for the 13th of March. The last day of delivery promised by Snapdeal was 15th March14. I was patient enough to wait till the 15th and when I did not get the product by the evening of 15th, I called the customer care number and was FALSELY assured that I will get a response from the team.
Snapdeal boasts of 24x7 customer query addressal but that is absolutely FALSE! Neither did I get an e-mail or a message or a call. I had to trail them and talk to different representatives who did not assist me to the least. I must have spent over Rs.100 on calling the customer care which I reiterate, DID NOT CARE.
The call was then escalated to a Mr. Abhishek (supervisor- customer supports) who seemed the kind of person who would help me. But to my surprise, not at least. I had to trail him too and then he tells me that they are still chasing the courier company! And while I am not in Snapdeal, I know for sure that one does not need 6 days to track a particular order. If they knew this you should have informed me, cancelled by order and given my money back!
Are you trying to fool customers? Why list a product that is not available? Not expected from Snapdeal at all. Now, not only did the birthday gift not reach me to be given to my friend, I have wasted my time, money and effort in trying to trail Snapdeal customer support who are ABSOLUTELY USELESS.
I want the issue to be escalated and I want my money back with a compensation. Im not going to ask for anything particular, but if you do function to serve your customers, you will come up with a decent compensation for my time and unsatisfaction.
