Alright so you keep seeing every where how this site is the emerging as face of Indian eCommerce with investors lined up to get a piece of it. And so you trust it to be an authentic site with sense of business and customer service. But on the contrary it seems to run by amateurs where you can see how there is clear lack of communications between customer care, operations, and the delivery.
I placed an order(order no. 1809636513) on 12th March and simultaneously called up customer care requesting them a confirmation on delivery date. They give a standard answer as "we cannot commit on delivery" . So I did wait and on 14th March I get a message on my phone stating the package will be delivered on or before 15th march with the tracking no. So I call up the "delivery " but the call couldnt get through no matter how many times one calls.
So I called up Snapdeal customer care on 15th march asking the status. They assured me it will be delivered on 15th . So I did wait and again on afternoon I call the delivery. After trying for almost an hour the call finally gets through and they tell me the package will be delivered only on 18th March not before that.
So I again call the Snapdeal team, they say please wait till 7. I called again at 8:30, they say "sorry we apologize, we will escalate". I asked when can I expect a response, they said after 48 hours.
I asked to cancel my order, they said we cant when it comes me and refused to accept!
That is how they run the business and serve their customers. I am surprised to see this business running!
MY ADVISE: PLEASE DO NOT SHOP FROM SNAPDEAL EVER!
Go for Myntra or Jabong or Shopnineteen instead.
