Vendor issue

I have transacted few orders from Snapdeal. Earlier their deals/ products were really good and their delivery was one of the best. But Recently their service is deteriorating!! I placed an order (Order Id: 673805430) on 4th Aug, 2012 and got an estimated shipping date on 9th Aug. When I inquired on 13th regarding the same they replied that it would be shipped on priority basis and they are really sorry for the delay. On 16th I inquired once again and forwarded my complaint to their upper management. Instantly got a call from the customer care that it would be delivered by today itself. After few hours the same lady from the customer care informed me that they are arranging a refund because the product is out of stock!!


Never faced such a bad deal from any of the top rated ecommerce site like flipkart or ebay or rediff. Snapdeal really had created their space in e-commerece and had a very good impact. But now their act will not only affect their reputation but also the whole e-commerce industry! Because their act clearly shows that- you pay-> complete the whole process -> wait for delivery -> started to inquire on missing the committed delivery date -> complaint a few times -> then get a refund!! Its really annoying... Don’t know whether its really a vendor issue or something else but whatever the cause ultimately its a harassment to a customer.


After Paying, completing the whole transaction, still a customer can’t be sure whether he would get the delivery or not..... its really frustrating!
