Incorrect product shipped and pathetic Cust Serv.

Had ordered a Diesel Men’s perfume and received a Women’s perfume. Asked them to ship the correct product and they say that they will not do unless I ship the incorrect product. Now after reading all the reviews about pathetic service and failed deliveries and refunds I am not ready to send the product as I am risking losing my money. But these guys are so pathetic that every conversation that they had with me all they are concerned about is getting back the incorrect product shipped back to them and are least bothered about how they want to resolve my issue.


If a company wants to go big they should concentrate on keeping the customers happy. These pathetic people think cheap of their customers and want to fool them with every opportunity they get. They give some stupid reason that the vendor was at fault rather than admitting to the mistake and trying to resolve it. This is a bad attitude and will take the company down soon.


For me I look at it as Snapdeal.com and I am not interested how many other parties are involved. This is how everyone looks and they should not be giving an excuse like this because I expect you to fix this. I also come from the same background except that I am from a well established organisation.


As a person representing Snapdeal and having the authority, this is what I would have done rather than giving an excuse about the 3rd party vendor who is involved. I would have ordered the correct product from the vendor by paying my money and have it shipped to the customer. Once ensured that the correct product is shipped I would have waited for the customer to ship the incorrect one.Here its the complete opposite and an experience which is harming the customer which is ME because of some stupid mistake made by SNAPDEAL.


I don’t really think its a good idea to take my chances by sending the product back without any guarantee. These people don’t trust your customers and expect us to trust them. This is funny. I will probably gift the incorrect product to someone and ensure that you at least lose 20-30 potential customers considering at least 10% of my networking people. I was just beginning to like the concept of you people and will never risk buying anything from you people if you guys don’t rectify this the way I want.
