I had ordered a Labrada Pro whey protein 3 lbs bottle from Snapdeal. My decision was based on the lower price that they were offering compared to the likes of Health Kart from where I had bought earlier. I received the bottle in a week and was about to open when I saw that the product was about to expire in 5 days!
A protein pack is supposed to be consumed over a month and a half and they sent me something which was going to expire in 5 days! It could have been a serious health issue. There have been several cases where people have been hospitalized. I was furious, but decided to give them a second chance. I asked them to return and replace the product.
My order number was 1344007359 and the date of my order was 19th October 2013. The reverse pick up was scheduled and that was the end of it. I have been struggling till date to get either a product or my money back. Today is the 12th Dec 2013. Almost 2 months and nothing. Its very bad to have a big gap between your loading cycle when you are training hard, but thanks to Snapdeal they would ensure that if u dont die from expired products you sure can ruin your health by taking a long gap in between.
I called up the customer care everyday and explain the same thing. Each time I hear the same rebuttals. We apologize for the inconvenience when clearly I feel they are used to saying it by now to every customer. I am writing this review to make people aware of the shady practices.
Moral of the story, pay extra on other sites and live to see another day!
