Stay Away

I placed my first order with SnapDeal on 04/04 - 1907217920. What can I say its been the worst online shopping experience I have had so far.




  • 15 days products not delivered.




  • Refund not initiated.




  • Customer care doesn’t exists post-order [ I am put on indefinite hold - "transferring to supervisor"]




  • I wrote to the CEO[Kunal] & COO[Rohit] explaining my grievance. No response from them either.

Kunal/Rohit,


It’s a shame that none of you have responded to my grievance. My problems have not ended with Snap Deal.


I have made 3 calls since morning. Every time I was told that my call is being transferred to supervisor.


And every time I was put on indefinite hold. I was holding the line for 30 mins each time.


What tricks you have taught your customer care executives? Bravo! Great Going!

Subject: 1907217920- Most unpleasant experience


Hi Kunal/Rohit,


I am writing to you to bring to your notice my first experience with doing business with Snapdeal.


1907217920- My first order placed on 4th April. Snap deal gave incorrect address[pin code] to courier company. 10 days and the package is yet not delivered. The last update from courier company is that the package is in Hyderabad[because of incorrect pin code]. I called up Gati on 12/04 gave them the correct pin code. I was assured the package will be delivered on 14/04. It wasn’t. I tried to call SnapDeal customer support and I was up for another shocker. I was looking forward to have someone from Snapdeal to sort this out with Gati but instead I ended up requesting for cancelling the order because of the treatment given by customer care executive.

Executive: I cannot


Gaurav: Please send me a mail acknowledgement


Executive: I cannot


Executive: I have forwarded your complaint to my team. They will call you


Gaurav: When will I get the call?

I raised another complaint through your website and help@snapdeal.com. No response.


There is a huge difference in pre-order and postorder customer experience. Post-order experience is no different than what I get from local “Kirana” store.


This by far is the most unpleasant online shopping experience I have had.
