Stay away from snapdeal.com!!

Had purchased a Sony Bravia 32BX350 from snapdeal and they made me regret this decision forever. This company in no way is even eligible to run an ecommerce company. I hope someone from snapdeal reads this!

  • Ordered my TV on 30th of November SonyBravia 32BX350 from snapdeal by paying Rs 26990 through my credit card

  • The status says processing till 5th of Dec(Not sure why they need 7 days to process)

  • On 6th, I get a mail saying the item is shipped an expected to get delivered on 11th through bluedart

  • I lose my patience in the mean time. Why on earth one would need 2 weeks to deliver a TV? May be the company feels I’m low on priority since I have already paid the amount and hence Cash on delivery customers are more important!!

  • On 10th I call up Sony customer care to ask them to come to my place for installation. Sony guys refused to take a request since I bought the product online. Instead, they asked me to ask snapdeal to raise a request from their end. I call up snapdeal and the call centre jokers dont know a clue

  • Now there is a twist to the story. On 11th, bluedart site says delivery is delayed because of accident and when I call up snapdeal, they assure me I’ll get the product and give me a funny 10digit compliant id

  • 12th, bluedart site says the product is delivered and not s single soul had come to our place. Snapdeal guys raise the request and give me another complaint id and assure me they’ll get back in a whopping 48hrs!!!!

  • 13th I myself coordinate with bluedart. The receptionist says they have delivered the product as per their entry, but the delivery boy will say he will deliver now!! and Finally on 13th, the product gets delivered after so much of struggle after **16days!!*

  • On 14th I speak to Sony customer care, lie to them that I bought the product from in a showroom and somehow got the guy to install

  • On 15th snapdeal guy calls me to check if product is delivered. These guys are quite punctual. They tooks exactly 48hrs!!

Look at the fate here. A stupid company named snapdeal.com has no idea on how to run a business and still running the business by harassing customers. Enough is enough. I learnt the hard way that I would never go for an online shopping. In case if you want to buy something online, try flipkart.com. They have much better service. And also, make sure never pay by credit card cos these companies always give higher priority to COD customers
