I have used snapdeal quite frequently, but my two consecutive last two experiences with them has been hilarious. My Order id 2027297964, was delivered to wrong address, which caused delay in the product delivery and also caused me pain in tracking the wrong address, in May 2014.
On acknowledging the same issue with Snapdeal, they just told Sorry and blamed Bluedart team.
Recently I ordered one more product with order id 3751907345, in last week of november 2014 and till date the product is not delivered.
After waiting for the right date of delivery and giving them ample time, with patience, their response is still the same that, "Sir dont worry the product will get delivered and your money is secured with TrustPay", and On tracking it, the Red Express Courier says that they have raised the complaint and it will be delivered after 6 more days.
Thus after so much of wait, what I get is the two complaint numbers(Snapdeal ref#(12978616) & REDEXPRESS ref#(b90e10ce) and the product delivery will still take 7 more days.
This is how online shopping works here, I would certainly try my level best to make SnapDeal team realize that Customers are suffering and they need to change their strategy.
I will certainly not repeat the mistake of buying again with snapdeal, nor recommend it.
My situation became awkward when I do not have the product on time and it was desperately needed in my family, I was literally embarrassed, ashamed and really have abused myself on ordering the product online. Snapdeal team does not really understands, what they have missed, and have out their Service or Committment at stake.
There is also no provision of escalation or appropriate addressal / understand with a consumers standpoint, except the word Sorry, which is also a mi utilization.
As of now am still waiting for the D DAY(delivery day).
