Snapdeal - my worst nightmare for online shopping

My sister had ordered a product on June 27th as a birthday gift for my 2 year old daughter. I never received the product for a month despite regular followup with Snapdeal.


They kept tossing me between their agents & the courier company Ecomexpress.Finally on aug 1st they confirmed that the product was lost by the courier company & they will refund the amount in 7 WD. But till today 19th Aug, we have not got the refund & the no senior agent is willing to talk to me about it. I feel sorry for the agents who attend my call . no use shouting at them as they dont have any authority to make decisions. & their supervisors are forever busy with other things & dont have time to deal with customer complaints.


Such is the status of online shopping with SNAPDEAL. wish I could sue these guys. On the other hand there is FLIPKART where just coz the product I ordered went out of stock after the order was confirmed, they gave me a voucher for some amount to make purchase of products at discounted price. May be SNAPDEAL should learn something from FLIPKART! Forget about voucher. Atleast learn to refund the amount without any hassle especially when they are at fault.
