Not at all up to the mark

Had a very bad experience with online shopping on Snapdeal for computer components.


Product was shown as ‘Available’. They needed 5 business days to ship and there were further delays and after almost 2 weeks they said product is out of stock


Customer care just kept on giving conflicting, confusing and non-credible responses. No two responses ever matched.


The website also gave ‘Bad Request’ error too often!


For computer components, better go to the computer hardware shops rather than online, you get better clarity and there are no undue delays.

  • No provision to interact with seller for any queries




  • No upfront information about the manufacturing date for products where it may be relevant




  • Reactive processing(If things don’t go well, you can certainly initiate a complaint, why not make best effort upfront to prevent it in the first place!).




  • Irritating pop ups to update your mobile number to register.




  • I still feel, face-2-face at an actual shop is a better way to buy whatever you want than such online sites
