Shipped an Air Cooler that Was Not Working.

Bajaj Glacier DC 2014 SLEEQ Air Cooler(Order No. 1841242651)


Ordered it on 19th March 2014, delivered 25th March. My parents opened it and found the fan not working. Raised complain at Snapdeal. Snapdeal wanted me to call Bajaj and get it checked instead of replacing the faulty product.


The Bajaj technical person came and checked the cooler. He said that fan in cooler is bad and would be needed to replaced. Snapdeal sent me a damaged item. My old parents are now having to go through all this. My only reason to order from website and not a store was that they would not have to go through all this. I am disappointed.


I own the same model cooler. When I checked the item shipped to parents I noticed the quality of the product to be much inferior than the one I have. Shopping on this site had not been worth the time and effort. It would have been easier to pick item at store and not worry about the product support. I am a big influencer in my circle- I will make sure people not buy any electrical/electronics from Snapdeal. The founders need to peel the pinch and act seriously.


What Snapdeal can do- Issue a reward certificate to buyers whose order they messed up and do a immediate reverse pickup and refund the amount and take down the TrustPay text.
