I have dealt with numerous companies but never had an experience worse than SnapDeal. I bought a deal from their site for Rs. 99/-. Due to some problem on their site my credit card was deducted of Rs. 99 but my order was not placed with them. Till this it is ok and understandable, these things happen and get sorted out quickly. With other companies for much bigger amounts I got the refund back in 7 days after sending ONE email.
But no not with Snapdeal. I have given them all the information I had including the screenshots of my credit card statement. But till now nothing. Its already more than 23 days since this. I have sent them 20 mails with no resolution. Everytime the reply is -
Thank you for writing in. We are sorry for the inconvenience faced. We would like to inform you that our concerned department is already working on your complaint and they will get back to you soon along with the resolution of your complaint. We would request you to kindly bear with us in the interim. I mean what the heck. For Rs. 99/- you want all possible proofs from customer but you dont have decency to respect the time a customer is wasting on doing repeated follow ups with your pathetic customer support.
On top of all this, they have now stopped responding to my emails. Never seen anything like this. I guess the customer support is angry why I am repeatedly wasting their time for a paltry Rs. 99/-.
Govt. of India offices are much more efficient than Snapdeals customer support. So whenever you buy something on SnapDeal just pray that it is successful for the first time otherwise you will be fighting tooth and nail for a small amount with SnapDeal customer support which gives a damn about your time and any other proof you submit.
