I must honestly say that Snapdeal introduced me the world of online shopping from almost 2010. However over the period of these 3 years they have not mastered the one thing every customer expects from them – CUSTOMER SERVICE, which Flipkart does effortlessly.
Snapdeal offers some good deals and discounts and I used to order small stuff like pen drive and mobile. Every time the shopping experience was either OK or below expectation. However considering the discounts that I get, I was ok with Snapdeal. If I was too particular about the specification of a product I normally go with Flipkart.
But recently my shopping experience with Snapdeal blew the lid off my patience. I ordered a computer table from Snapdeal. I ordered the table which had teakwood finish and after a wait of 25 days I got a table which was in beach wood finish.
After a wait of 25 days, I did not have the patience to return back the table so I learnt to live with it. Now they started sending mails asking for my feedback on the product. I wrote an honest feedback of the table and had mentioned that wrong color table was shipped. Now nearly after a month I checked that Snapdeal has not even published the product review!
Imagine a customer`s state of mind who had received a wrong product, then was asked to provide feedback, for which the customer had spent time writing a review and then Snapdeal chooses just to ignore the feedback. So all the few product review that are there in their website are either written by them or filtered for their convenience.
I thank this company for introducing us to online shopping, but now I wish this company goes down the drain very soon.

1.Flipkart: Best service, honest customer reviews, however I don`t like their current multi-vendor system.
2.Pepperfry: Good furniture deals and good service.
3.Snapdeal: Good deals but pathetic service.
4.Homeshop18: They are basically cheats, sub-standard products.
