On 6th Jul 2014 I ordered a jacket from Snapdeal.com which was supposed to be delivered in 15 days. The online order form did not have size selection option. I received a call from the vendor of the jacket named sports365.com to get my size which I gave on two separate occasion on 9th July and 12th July. On 12th July I also called the snapdeal customer care to inform them about my size expectation, ie XL. I spoke to the manager at the call center as well to convey that I am not interested in receiving an inaccurate size and the trouble to send it back again if wrong size is sent. She assured me that I will get the right size as now she will be mailing to the vendor to send the right size.
On 20th July I got an email from snapdeal saying my order has got cancelled owing to non availability of stock. After 3 weeks of placing the order snapdeal informs me that they dont have stock of the particular product which I found very upsetting. Despite this message I ended up receiving the product but of wrong size i.e. Small size. I was obviously not use the product and immediately informed them to cancel the order and I have no use of this product after 3 weeks of waiting and receiving an inaccurate size. I emailed them the same day to tell them to pick up the order and refund my money. I called their call center again on 23rd July to complaint that no one had come to pick up the inaccurate product. They said that they will pick up the order in 2 days. It is 30th Jul today and still no one has come to pick up the product. I called them again today to ask for manager and somehow resolve the issue, but all the call center said is that they will raise another complaint and it will get resolved. Since I did not have any more faith in snapdeal I requested for a manager, and not so surprisingly they said the manager will call back first saying in 2 hrs first and then in 4 hrs.
This is a case of bad logistics and customer service and complete lack of dependability. Never buy from Snapdeal, they are only interested in your money, despite following up myself they have not resolved the issue and pretty much dont care!
