As a startup business, I recently purchased Snazzyways white label pro drop shipping package. When I first spoke to them they were very nice with the whole yes sir we can do whatever you want. So I paid the price and when I joined the package, I asked them to state a timeframe in which the product would be completed. They stated 7-10 days. Coming up to the 10th business day the product was nowhere near completed and the shopify theme they provided was from 2020, As the idea I had needed the application of apps only available in shopify 2.0 I asked them to rectify this.
They sent me through a renegotiated terms of condition to fit Australian Consumer Rights. They then proceeded to load the wrong template which was another template from 2020. I then discovered reviews that had emerged after I had done my research as all the reviews I had seen were kind before then. I questioned them about their reviews at first the excuse was competitors ran a fake campaign. I told them these reviews were recent and the excuse then changed to you know they are just disgruntled customers.
The new agreement I asked for a timeframe of completion of the website the answer was 3 days depending on my reviews after the third day I looked at the website and found nothing had been done. They will use excuses like we have been in business for 10 years and wouldnt still be operating if we were not successful. The reason on why this can be applied is up until a few years ago they were operating only in India, where the consumer law is weak compared to other countries.
In Australia, we have some of the strictest consumer laws in the world and they have violated many of them. Use logical reasoning when looking at their page and check the terms of services. In India all of these terms of services and the way they are written a legal loopholes. In Australia, they cannot get out of them and those terms are seen as unlawful. So at this point in time I am looking at having the ACCC involved and informing the Indian Consumer Law of the breach.
I have lost a substantial amount of money on this transaction including the original approx$2100 on the product. The costs of running the business where the supply wasnt there and also the cost of replacing the website which in any case I am looking at at least$3000 here in Australia. Not to mention the legal fees that are about to be associated with retaining my losses.
If you are in India I would be very wary of using this company. Also their website development company boffin brains as they do not supply the product to the standard that they negotiate. I didnt get the chance to actually look at the product quality as by that point I didnt want to spend any more money on my losses. Id suggest if you are looking at having a go at drop shipping lingerie use a company that has a higher ranking in the system. Have a good day and enjoy your journey. Hopefully, it turns out better than mine has been.
