I went for my Honeymoon trip in 2009 Feb and stayed in Snow Valley resorts. I had booked thru Yatra.com as a package for 3 Night and 4 day trip. It was a great value for money. It included the buffet breakfast which was really very good and the room setting and the location of the hotel was also good. I reached Manli early morning so I had to wait till 10 Am so that the room got cleaned for me.
If you are reaching early in the morning you might have to wait as their check in is 10 Am and mostly in that season was full. That was painful.
Overall courteousness of staff and members were above average and I wont say It was excellent.
I would recommend Snow Valley resort as a good option for staying in Manali
