SNOWWORLD HYDERABAD - NOT SO COOL AFTERALL!
It is just a big indoor rectangular hall(3 badminton court size) filled with thin layer of ice and some ugly looking structures(like platform, wooden building replica etc.)
They give you used DIRTY / UNHYGIENIC (not properly washed) jackets, gloves, socks, to wear.
These things won’t protect you from uncomfortable feeling and jackets keep opening up on their own.
Quality / texture/ quantity of so called’snow’ is HOPELESS in case you have seen the real thing. Most of it is what you generally find stuffed inside mobile ice-creams carts(mixture of salt+ crushed ice)
Hygiene and maintenance is lacking everywhere including in the food court.
It is better to take your own digital camera(they charge Rs.20/- fee to allow you camera inside).
Mobile phones are not allowed in and you have to keep them outside by paying Rs5/-(This is ridiculous security or safety measure! When they can allow cameras why not phones?) Also it’s not about money but the inconvenience factor.
You don’t get decent / hygienic food anywhere in the complex or even outside.
Even though you can remain inside for one hour per show, most people will come out as early as within 15 minutes of entering it.
EXTRA POINTS
In case you plan to take a visit to Amazon Rain Forest, House of Living Dead and Kaliedoscope Hall within the same campus(either on individual tickets or in a clubbed tickets - my advice is strict NO NO)
You get much better deal for these things at Prasads IMAX Complex nearby.
Conclusion: I don’t find it to be a family entertaining center. You loose Rs. 250/-(or more per head. Experience is not great. You get headache upon exiting(so keep some Disprin handy!)
