At the risk of being accused of trying to hog all the spare time on Mouthshut tonight, this is my third review in less than an hour. Please forgive me if this upsets anybody, but Im just starting to get used to the site and I wanted to have a good look around.
We here in England love the game of football or soccer and are keen to see it well established in the Asian sub continent and there are just starting to be a few Asian players making the breakthrough into the professional football game over here.
My favourite football team is Leeds United and they in particular have given a chance to one excellent young Asian footballer called Harpal Singh, who is expected to get some games in the first team this season.
It is important that many British Asians start making a name for themselves in English football in order to encourage a multi cultural society and I know things are developing, because when I play football each Thursday night, there is always a game being played close by between two teams of Asian footballers, who are showing themselves to be extremely gifted at the game.
Im not sure how popular football is in India, but it is extremely popular in England, as you will know, although the England national team always seems to struggle badly to meet the expectations of its fans. Hopefully, the appointment of Sven Goran Eriksson will see this change and success being gained by the England team. He has started well and the team have won every game since his arrival in the job.
Hopefully, this review has been of use to the readers on this site - please read and let me know what you think.
