I feel I need to write about this because it is vital that every one knows who are the best ten players in the Premiership. This is a totally a un bias decisions because I support Blackburn Rovers.
TEN=PAUL SCHOLES
One of those rare breeds of English footballers capable of holding his own on the world stage. Scholes has great touch, works hard and scores terrific goals to add to the bargain. He is the perfect link between defence and attack. Perhaps the best red-haired footballer ever, he has proved home-grown can be just as skilful as any foreigner, but he keeps such a low profile he is often under rated. He is such a terrific player to watch and is so exciting on the ball.
NINE=PAOLO DI CANIO
Good with both feet, excellent at dribbling, passing, crossing and taking good goal, Paolo DI Canio has the full operatic range of skills. Ref-pusher and crowd-pleaser extraodinaire, Paolo DI Canio was given player of the season last year, which shows how consistent he was last term. After years of wandering Paolo DI Canio now seems to have found his true spiritual home with Harry Redknapp’s hammers. He seems to be a great talent on and off the pitch. His ball skills still continue to amaze me. The way he skips past defender is great because some of them are world class and he makes them look conference class.
EIGHT=MARCEL DESAILLY
Do not ask to see Frenchman Marcel Desailly medal collection it would take you hours. He is truly a great defender and rarely misses a tackle. His is big strong tall and aggressive, everything a Centre back needs. As well as a FA cup medal, he was the first player to win the European cup with two different clubs in successive years- Marseille in 1992 and AC Milan in 1993. At Marseille he also won the French title; while at Milan he won two Italian titles and a Super cup. Then there are his European and World cup titles, this man has nearly won everything and I think he wants to add to that collection by winning the English league.
SEVEN= SAMI HYYPIA
Had it not been for a watchful television cameraman, it is unlikely that Sami Hyypia would now be playing for Liverpool. This is also a defender who has really shined on the Premiership in the last few years and there are more up and coming just like Sami. Sami is tall, strong and powerful, he is a bit of a no-nonsense defender who just clears everything. He looks very comfortable on the ball when bringing it out of defence and can be an arial threat when in the opposing area.
SIX= JAAP STAM
The Dutch call him Jappy and when it comes down the tackle there are few defenders with quite such a snap. Not that he has to tackle that often anyway. With his greyhound-like pace allied to his reading of the game, over the last couple of years I feel that Jaap Stam has established himself as one of the best defender in the World. He is comfortable on the ball and has good vision. He is also a strong and powerful defender and that is probably why he is known for his snap.
FIVE=DAVID BECKHAM
He is truly the master when coming to take set pieces, the curve he gets on the ball is extraordinary. He is most of the time correct with every pass and he always seems to make the right one. E has simply proved his critics wrong when they said he does not score enough goals because he has scored more than his fare share this season for United. I feel Beckham is the best crosser of the ball in the World. He is still quite young and has won so much for his age. The experience he has is incredible in Europe, but it is also because he has made it incredible by winning the league nearly every year.
FOUR=RYAN GIGGS
Another Man United player they seem to dominate everything lately (apart from the FA cup). Ryan Giggs on form and fit is the best-left sided player in the country. He is simply electrifying with his skill pace, and remarkable awareness, he seems to know where everyone is and just goes past them like they are not even there. He has got to be one of the best players to watch and observe. He is a perfect role model to young kids. A lot of hard work put in by Giggs to be like this. The only thing is injuries seem to haunt him a lot.
THREE=PATRICK VIERA
Since his arrival in at Highbury 1996, the tall, rangy midfield maestro has been moulded into the finished article by Arsene Wenger. His supreme tackling and passing skills have made him one of the key players in the Premiership. The midfield has nearly everything at club level; the only thing he lacks a little is experience. He is strong, aggressive and very powerful and likes a good old tackle now and than. Basically he just mops up when the game is getting a bit nasty. I feel his involvement in international football can only do him good.
TWO=THIERRY HENRY
This player came to the English game as not as good as some people fought. He was played in the wrong position and did not do to well, but as soon as he moved up front he has got better and better. He has that knack of playing well every game and always looks like scoring a goal if not two. He is tall and quite powerful, but he is more known for his speed and how well he is at shooting. He rarely misses the target, which is worrying for all keepers. I like to see him win more at Arsenal.
ONE= ROY KEANE
KEANE IS EQUIVALENT OF A FOOTBALL ALL-ROUNDER, COMBING SNARL WITH FINESSE, DEFENCE WITH ATTACK, AND SECURING HIS SERVICE AT £54, 000-A-WEEK IS A BARGAIN IN THE CURRENT CLIMATE.
HE IS THE MOST AWESOME PLAYER IN THE PREMIERSHIP AND GETS FROM BOX TO BOX IN THE MATTER OF SECONDS. ALWAYS UP FOR A CRUNCH AND IS A VERY AGGRESSIVE PLAYER. HE IS THE BEST PERSON TO MOTIVATE HIS TEAM AND REALLY GETS THEM GOING.
I HAVE ALSO WRITTEN THIS SO PEOPLE HAVE AN IDEA WHO TO PUT IN THEIR DREAMTEAM’S
