Excellent premium 5star hotel with a penchant for detail.
Was very impressed when their valet parking attendants not only heeded my request to park my vehicle close by(since I was here only to recce the place for a friend) but also swiftly fixed a loose screw of my bumper when I returned to collect my vehicle. This close attention to detail and such care for a prospective customer(who didnt even buy) is rare and must be commended and emulated.
They have made me a loyal customer and will definitely recommend them.
Oh and yes, its a spanking new property in the heart of the business district of Bandra Kurla Complex.
Excellent location, impressive glass facade, plush soft cushioned carpets, polite staff who actually Indianise the whole experience with a traditional folded hands Namaskar.
All staff attired in smart brown formals in line with their wooden earthy decor. A faint fragrance of lemon grass and soft wafting music adds to the overall ambience.
A very warm and inviting coffee shop that also serves buffet lunch and dinner on week days(around INR 1500/- plus taxes) and a lavish Sunday brunch(around INR 2500/- plus tax) with children below 12 complimentary - yes complimentary!
A lovely lazy pool on a higher floor secluded yet open.
A smart fresh typically French patisserie that makes their own bread right in front of your eyes and serves delightfully fresh pastries and croissants as well as strong brews in coffee.
Loved the place and plan to sample it one of these days in the future.
They are part of the Accor group of hotels with Sofitel being their premium luxury brand, Novotel Juhu being their 5 star chain and IBIS Santacruz airport(business hotels) bringing up the rear.
Definitely a must visit.
