Hello Everyone,
In My View, “Software Engineering: A Practitioners Approach”, a book that I consider invaluable as it helped me grasp the core of software engineering as a computer science student. Everything from fundamental development concepts, through requirements gathering, through project management, then design, coding, testing, up until maintenance, is sequentially explained and organized book in this manner.
As a computer science student, what helped me the most was the introduction of fundamental software engineering concepts. The author describes topics, relates them to real life and introduces them at the right time. For example: what is Agile methodology? UML? What are software design patterns and Many More.
To sum up the main purpose of the book is fully attained: Rogers Pressman managed to prepare students for practical application of ksaos needed in software engineering. A great book, I recommend it. It has helped me build a good foundation and bolstered my confidence as I move on in my education and career.
Thank you
