I have been going to Solaris GYM (Karvenagar Branch) for 6 to 7 months. Till now everything was good. But just 2 months back I had a very very bad experience with one of the instructor (Name is Sheetal M). Before she was my personal trainer for a month. On her persuasion I again enrolled for personal training and again my trainer was Sheetal. After I had enrolled I came to know that she transfered to Mayur Colony Solaris Branch. So we had a mutual agreement that she would come in morning from 6.00 am to 7.00 am to Karvenagar branch and later go to Mayur Colony Branch. For first few days (in mean 3-4 days) she was regular but later she use to be absent for 2-3 days and later call and tell me that she would give me extension. And whenever she use to be present she use to come at 6.30 am and leave by 7.00 am.
She was not at all professional. After tolerating this for 2 weeks I asked to the Branch Manager for change of instructor. He also already that Sheetal was very irregular and so changed my instructor. But when she came to know the next day she called and told that she won’t pay the remaining to amount to my new trainer and won’t allow me to change my instructor. I guess the Branch Manager was okay with it and asked me to wait for Sheetal. He said that if we change her now it would create problems. After hearing this I felt that as she was in good books of that Branch Manager, he never scolded her. Later she never came to Karvenagar Branch and I had paid extra money for personal training but worked out with any instructor.
If at all the Branch Manager had taken some tough action against Sheetal or had he give me an instructor change, it would have solved the matter then and there itself. Solaris being such a reputed GYM and fitness centre, I am really surprise to see how the total incidence was handled. Nor was the instructor Sheetal professional nor did the Branch Manager showed his seniority. So just wanted to suggest all the if at all anyone is joining Solaris GYM just make sure you don’t have Sheetal as personal Trainer. She works only for money and once the amount is deposited in her branch she will not at all concentrate on her work. She would be irregular and when present she will not do her duties properly.
