It normally comes with a standard sony 18-70mm kit lens, which is obviously a lot cheaper. the quality of the sony kit lens is actually pretty good, certainly better than some other manufacturer’s kit lenses. the zeiss lens and a sony 70-300mm telephone zoom when testing the A200, so the score for the image quality was based on the camera, not the lens, when compared to other cameras of similar price.it’s got a larger screen, comes with an ISO3200 mode and user controlled high ISO noise reduction but in turn lacks the A100’s depth of field preview. its unsurprisingly much cheaper camera.
