Very bad service

I have sony bravia KDL-32W60A purchase in october and few days back my tv was went tottaly blank when I was trying to do a software upgrade.


I registere complaint with sony authorised service centre about the issue with my tv. they told me since the issue happened during software upgrade it will be seviced free of cost.


After 3 days technical visited my home and checked the tv. he opened it up and just checked continuity of circuit board from data cable connecter pins to board circuit just one inch away from the computer pin. and he conluded that the LED TV motherboard has benn damaged and it will cost me 10000. I realished he is just bufing since he did not check any component properly.


My concern here is if tv went off during for software upgrade why I shold play, and I was happy with my old software and was not running a upgrade as such. n ow suppose today I pay 10000 and get it corrected but if tomorrow again same thing happen.would never by tv or any sony brand product and would suggest same to new buyers.since sony is manufacturing tv’s with vert less life expectancy.
