Pathetic customer care and service

Higher cost with Poor Service


In the starting I used external speaker with the TV but after a year I started to use TV’s inbuilt speakers to my surprise Black spot appeared just above the speakers both side of screen.


After raising a complaint to the customer care, a technician came and told me that a smoke coming from the LED deposited on the screen and entire TV Screen panel need to be replaced at a cost of around 24, 000


I talked to the customer service head(preet vihar, delhi) and asked him to find the real issue causing the problem because new screen may have the same black spot, he told me the problem can not be diagnosed and only solution he can provide is to replace the screen at my cost at this point of time. He also told me that this problem may appear again and can not be guaranteed.


I sent several emails to the higher management of Sony but no help.


Sony is only concerned with the making of money by replacing the parts appeared to be defective and not able or willing to diagnose the real cause of problem.
