I use this 55 inch TV in a 12 feet by a 12 feet room, with a home theatre set up. So I do not use the TV speakers for sound. Leaving that aside I’m really impressed with this TV. The picture quality is amazing. ( I have used a 32 inch Sony bravia earlier and now upgraded to Sony again! ) . A 55 inch is good for a 12* 12 feet room, the TV is not oversized at all.When going for purchasing a smart TV, some maybe slightly confused as to which OS to prefer. In my view, the current state of TVs in the market is such that no single OS has matured enough, but in terms of potential and promise, Android holds the most potential. However one must realise that the TV has undergone a sea change and one must be open to this change. The interface is no longer similar to the non-smart TV. Also, being on Android OS, one must be prepared for once in while upgrade to OS. After I bought my TV 2 months back, I have already had one update to the OS.I have connected this TV with a network cable for internet connection, and practically rarely use a set up box( TATA Sky) . The HD video through internet is good and never face a streaming problem. Video played through pen drive plays very well - good HD quality with subtitles, if required. The TV comes with extension cable for USB ports are behind and no accessible easily, the extension cable makes it easy to use them.Some cons, though minor: I do not find the sound blaster of any great use. Although it can connect to TATA Sky setup box and turn it ON when you turn on the TV, you still need the Tata Sky remote to surf the channels. I have actually removed it and kept it aside. The sony TV sideview remote app for Android is painful. I wonder why sony has not paid attention to its design. However, there are other apps available in the app store that works better.Just to mention, the TV does not come with advanced remote and it is not easy to search/type with standard remote. However one can type or do a voice search using the Android TV remote app.Immersed 3D effect. Worth for money.Overall, a great TV, and I would highly recommend it to anyone.
