It has automatic brightness setting sensor which sets the brightness of tv according to external light. The picture quality is more like hd. We dont even need hd Dish to get hd channels, Sony Bravia KLV 32R402A has a perfect picture quality itself . So in simple words, we loved Sony Bravia KLV 32R402A .!
