Own the model 32" Sony Bravia S series KLV-32S310A since Diwali 2007. Purchased in a deal from the seller with sriram finance @ less than 44000 approx after 6 months survey. Pretty satisfied with this model compared to other brands of the similar or higher price range. Got wall mounted in the hall of 10*20 where the viewing distance was approximately 12-13 min feet from the TV. Did have a confusion on whether to choose between 26" or 32" later settled for 32" itself. Did not regret for this option after started using this TV.
Myself and my friend were in the lookout for one of this kind and he finally decided to settle with Samsung Bordeaux Art at an higher price of additional 6K. Waited for another 2 months after his purchase for this model to get the pricing within my budget which did dip during Diwali to an great extent of approximately 6-8K minimum.
Even though the newer variants in Sony itself were present when this model was being phased out and hence the price reduction, still found the clarity was better and the reviews from similar websites suggested S Series compared to V Series for the color re-production. Sound clarity is good as the picture but require additional sound system for effective movie experience.
Did choose few models for audio to go inline with this TV, but pricing seems tobe on the higher side and still waiting for one to match the TV’s lookand quality.
So far the experience had been good and yet there was not a need to contact the service people except for installing the system initially.
