I bought this TV last year from tesco as it was on offer and I have been totally impressed! The picture quality is fantastic especially in HD. The sound quality is very good - although if you like it loud and "basey" then I would suggest getting a decent surround sound system as the basic setup is just that. As more and more appliances require HDMI cables - I would also advise a newer bravia TV as this unit only has the one HDMI slot.
Also it regularly dropped the HDMI signal from my SKY HD box - which I put down to the sky system, however I have moved over to cable and it is now din it with that so wonder whether it is the TV unit itself. The remote is simple to use and sturdy. I’ve dropped it a few times and it works fine! The built in digital tuner is also excellent!
