Great Picture quality

Pros:

1  Great picture quality.

  1. Superb low light performance, which are not seen even in a high end camcoder.

  2. Very compact easy to shoot.(Best to be kept in auto mode)

  3. Great sound quality.  I could safely say as the best among its range.

  4. Study built.

  5. The image stabilizer is superb. Only bad at full zoom.

Cons:

  1. A 10min Video clips transfomrs into a 2.1GB file. Hence the need to copy the movie to a DVD or a CD frequently, Or else it up your whole compu space. in a flash of a second.

  2.  Near freezing temp(zero or below zero), the camera refused to focus quite a few times. it really becoms anoying.(I had to switch off and on or hit the zoom to focus it)

3.The battery provided with the camera NP-50, does not last more that 40 min(with LCD mode), Hence I would recomend NP-90, which along with NP-40 can see you through almost the full day.

  1. There is no I/O on the camera, all the AV I/Os are in the docking station of the camera. Hence you would always need to carry this piece with you, and god forbid if you lose this.
