Hello All ! Well this is to share my experience with you all on my first camcorder I bought couple of weeks back. This is amazing Sony DCR-TRV 33E (one of the latests from Sony). I found it really very difficult to decide from the range of the products available in the market, though it was little easy for me as I wanted it to be only Sony! so the search weas limited to Sony only.
I am very specific about my needs as I know my needs and know define well what I am really looking for and then go and hunt. So the problem was to decide define the Price (Budget) and the Features. So I scanned all the net (Sony site, Google and other online shops) and listed down the models, features, prices and then sat to chalk-out the models that did not fit my budget and requirements.
Finally after this study I narrowed down the list to 3 models (TRV 460, TRV 33E and TRV 22E) and then located the Sony world showrooms and checked, touched and asked for demos for these three (in fact 22E and 33E only as later I cam to know that 460 was an old model and not a good one) and then decided to buy 33E. Well, the moral of the above story is ’’Decide what you want to buy, Know what you want to buy and try (features, prices) it before you buy it’’ As far as the 33E model’s features is concerned, I am very satisfied with it as its true value for the money.
All nice features (Mini DV, TV/PC Connecitvity etc etc.) Nice battery backup, memory stick (upto 1 GB a suppose), Night Vision....and the list goes on.
