Sony’s 2001 innovation at a budget price. A true rendering of Digital Video on Hi-8 Tapes, with astounding photographic quality even at very poor lighting condiions.
I have really enjoyed shooting and the pictures resemble professional movies.
The lens is surprisingly very sharp and the features are really plenty.
But the manual focusing is cumbersome and it should have been conveniently located and designed. Not always one can use auto-focus, especially in dark forests and wildlife shooting, with long zoom range. TRV-230 makes manual focusing very difficult with too many twists to make a very small change in focusing point.
Battery is fantastic, especially their 10 hour one.
Titling is single line which needs improvement to two or three lines.
A good camera to carry around.
