SONY- A truly world class brand accepted and trusted by, I am sure, most of us here ! Well, SONY has always had the ability to innovate and re-invent. Not only is it a pioneer in electronics but has the credit of inventing; take for example the simple fact that it was responsible for the invention of the Walkman, which has been a useful companion of ours, SONY is the inventor of the Robot Dog AIBO, which I am sure, has captured our imagination...also a dealer in Robotics, SONY guarantees cutting edge technology and handy service !
Coming back to the point of this review, my first, I was hesitant in the beginning, but I felt, oh well ! lets join the crowd...so here I am ! Thanks to my good friend Ananth (aka callkrish) ! So, I recently purchased the SONY DSC-S 60, since I really like photography, and own a professional camera as well ! The CAMERA has always fascinated me !...photography a hobby of mine !...Back to the Digital camera, the one I own; it is quite a good one, with 4.1 Mega pixel resolution and 3X optical zoom...it provides a range of resolutions starting from VGA to 1MP, 3MP and 4.1 MP. The camera also provides 3 options in video capture, depending on the length and resolution that the consumer prefers...The choices, in prefered type of photography such as dim light, greenery, snow formation, scenary are also present which proves to be quite handy indeed.
The LCD screen display, an important tool in digital photography, agreed, provides better capture! The stills and videos can be viewed on the TV and PC, via USB ofcourse...the software provided by SONY is quite useful and allows sooooo much variety in modifying and gizmofying your precious images, videos and moments...The camera has special features such as Red Eye reduction facility, that reduces the redness in the eyes while taking photos, Timer that allows you to take a pic within a set time period, which is quite cool actually, Auto focus ability to take clearer pictures and many other options and facilities ! The usage of CARL ZEISS lenses, a pioneer in lens production, is an added bonus ! The facilities and after sale services are always there when u need them ! The camera, also allows the usage of extra fitting lenses for better capture, that can be bought seperately and used with the camera ! Quite compatible, dont you think !
This was a brief review on the SONY DSC-S60, the camera provides more options than listed above, but this will provide you a sneak peak at the camera and its qualities ! ALL in all, a great camera and a fun companion to capture your precious moments ! The camera has more than satisfied me in all aspects !...SO the choice is clear, let it be a SONY !
