I have been scanning the market for buying a television for the past 8 months. I am looking out for a 29’’ model and SONY was what came to my mind. But sadly the stuff that SONY sells in India seems to be grossly overpriced and the quality is not upto the mark.
The TVs just dont have the clarity that you would expect out of a SONY. Well I am sure 98% people buy SONY just for its reputation in the market.
In the case of the 29’’ TV the sound and picture quality is not upto the mark and they have made this policy of launching models with and without Woofers, such that the model which doesnt have woofers, delivers lower quality sound and for an extra 7-8k the woofer model delievers rich sound.
Not Satisfied for the price. Infact I have also checked out some other brands like Panasonic, Philips and LG. Unfortunately all brands here with the sole exception of philips, sell only 50hertz tv. Philips has 100 Hertz digital TV which is a very nice model and seems to be a decent bargain.
The picture quality is definitely good and the sound is also excellent.It is most certainly better tan a SONY.
