The Sony P-31 is a nice & cute little digital camera I bought recently. I have bought it at amsterdam which just happened as an accident.
I was roaming around the duty free shops for passing time and this camera attracted me. Within 5 minutes I was hooked to it and bought it.
This Cyber-shot® digital still camera runs the gamut of functionality, including incredible 3.2 megapixel effective resolution, 3.2X Smart Zoom, and a host of inspired Sony features, like 16-frame multi-burst, MPEG movie modes, intelligent auto-focus functions, and so much more. This camera also includes a USB 2.0 interface and convenient rechargeable NiMH batteries with included charger. And the DSC-P31 is so compact and sleekly designed that you can carry it anywhere and never miss a shot.
I used it for various occasions and under different lighting conditions. The picture quality is very good. With an portable memory card, it is easy to have varied capacity.

I liked the feture of having quality settings like Fine/standard or again pic sizes like 640, 1280 et al. You can adjust these settings very easily.
I tried recording a movie at home, by connecting the output to a VCR & to a computer with CD writer. It was so easy and I admire the quality.
This is the first time, I have bought a Sony as all of my items are of Panasonic. I am just amazed of the operational ease and quality of this camera.
It is THE digital experience.
Cheers!
