Prior to this I was using NOKIA 3250 which is bulky music phone, bad vibrator, and pathetic nokia service. Hence due to bad product quality and poor service I inclined towards SONY-Eric and brought SONY ERICSSON C510 bout a month back.
It is beautiful, slim light weight’CANDY’ phone with good enough talk time and decent music support. I compare this phone with some W-series phones of sony and found music quite competitive. CyberShot Camera with auto focus, face detection and smile shutter, You will really love it.
Although there are some feature like track id, Secondary cam for 3G, which I havn’t used and wonder if ever in this phone’s lifetime be get used and Google MAP, you tube, web feed etc. are still on my TODO list. So with around a month of experience here are the feelings:
Pros:
Again Slim, lightweight CANDY [no slide, no twist, no flip-flap reason for most device’s problem ] phone.
NICE CAMERA, slim shutter, face detection and auto focus, Image tagging feature. Auto adjust as per lighting
MUSIC certainly at par with W-series sony devices
Decent talk time, and music play time around 5-6 hours(well I have not tested it to its limits)
Auto-rotate feature, nice vibrator(was really poor in 3250)
Cons:
Wish it had a Xenon flash, coz dual LED really TORTURES the subject in dark
Sound on loud speaker is so very low, 3 phone together on loudspeaker can not compete NOKIA 3250 sound at loud speaker
Headphone accessary makes your ear pain(but can’t avoid it comes in box with most W-series phones as well) suggestion: HPM-82 headphone
takes Comparatively hire time in opening menus and sub items
You need to restart phone to get into FLIGHT MODE and also to come out of it.
