Sony Ericsson-K-300i-today's value for money phone

I was in market to replace my Nokia 1100- ( functional but so ugly ) and researched the market with my budget of 6k- found that there was life beyond Nokia-Over the recent months many fone makers have come to the realisation that there are still mobile phone users out there that don?t need all the bells and whistles the answer came thru with my buying this elegant fone Sony Ericsson K-300. Its main features are.

Speakerphone

SMS/EMS, MMS, and e-mail with T9

12mB internal memory best in class

65, 536 colour LCD

Infrared and USB connectivity

VGA digital still and video camera with 4x zoom

MusicDJ? polyphonic ring tone

The K300i is a small sized handset, but not too miniscule that you?re going to lose it at any time. You can easily fit it into your pants or shirt pocket The K300i uses the same user interface as all new Sony Ericsson models.

The phonebook on the K300i is fully featured with multiple entry capabilities, including e-mail, web address, picture, personalized ring tone, voice command function, work and home addresses and contact details, and any extra notes you wish to add. Infrared, and USB data-cable are the most convenient connectivity options on the Sony Ericsson K300i

The build quality of the K300i was just as expected ? great! The handset is very sturdy and strong, as well as light and small. The K300i has great battery life for such a little phone. The handset has a BST-35 Lithium PO battery pack at 700mAh, which really runs for 3 days.

The K300i comes equipped with a VGA digital camera with support for video and still image capture. Camera I found is good in daylight, nightmode is nothing much. But U can save a lot of pictures & data in the 12 MB memory.

The K300i is an entry level handset ? and there is no better way to enter the mobile users market than with the K300i! With everything the entry-level users want plus more to show what mobile handsets these days can do, the K300i is a cheap but very very elegant & functional handset.
